How to choose the model of the manifold

MANIFOLD-S5855 is a water flow distribution and collection device composed of manifold and water divider. The water divider is a device that divides one input water into several outputs, and the manifold is a device that collects multiple input waters into one output. The selection of the manifold needs to consider the diameter and length of the manifold.

1. Calculation of pipe diameter

The cooling load of the left air-conditioning unit riser QL=269.26kW

Its pipe diameter is

The cooling load of the central fan coil riser QL=283.66kW
The diameter of its pipeline is known by hydraulic calculation, and the diameter of the main trunk pipe is DN200

2. Calculation of the length of the water separator

In engineering practice, the pipe diameter 2-3 larger than the Z largest pipe diameter is often taken, so D=300mm
After calculation, d1=200mm, d2=150mm, d3=150mm, d4=125mm, d5=80mm, d0=80mm; d1 is the diameter of the inlet pipe, d2 and d3 are the diameter of the outlet pipe, and d4 is the diameter of the spare pipe. d5 is the diameter of the bypass pipe, and d0 is the diameter of the drain pipe.

L2=75+120+75=270mm
L3=75+120+62.5=257.5mm

3 Design of the manifold

The diameter of the manifold cylinder is the same as that of the water separator, take D300
d1=200mm, d2=150mm, d3=150mm, d4=125mm, d5=80mm, d0=80mm, dp=25mm; dp is the diameter of the expansion pipe, d1 is the diameter of the outlet pipe, d2 and d3 are the diameters of the return pipe, d4 is the spare pipe diameter, d5 is the bypass pipe diameter, and d0 is the drain pipe diameter.

Manifold length is

L=L0+L1+L2+L3+L4+L5=60+25+120+150+120+150+120+125+120+80+60=1130mm
